Meet Team Khamseen! We are an international, multireligious, plurilingual, and intergenerational collective based in Ann Arbor, Cambridge (Mass.), Edinburgh, Geneva, Cairo, Beirut, and beyond. Our team includes a dozen professors, curators, librarians, lecturers, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate and undergraduate students. What brings us all together is our deep and shared commitment to the academic study and public promotion of Islamic art as well as the creation of completely free and open scholarly resources about Islam’s expressive cultures across the globe. We also delight in learning from our contributors, and from each other.
