Greetings from the Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute at the University of Southern California!
We’re sharing a tool we’ve developed with the Alzheimer’s Association with researchers, faculty, and students in your department – or anyone you might know whose work focuses on Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases.
The Global Alzheimer’s Association Interactive Network (GAAIN) has developed the first operational online integrated research platform, which links scientists, shared data, and sophisticated analysis tools. Investigators can address complex scientific questions by accessing massive, shared data sets and can share their own data by joining our global network of Alzheimer’s disease study centers.
We’re actively looking for new users and new data partners. Using GAAIN, Researchers can discover clinical, genetic, imaging, and other data collected across many independent studies; build cohorts and connect with GAAIN data partners. Our goal is to grow our GAAIN resources and make investigators aware of our data, in hopes that it may benefit their own research.
We have helpful info on the GAAIN website, in our new newsletter, and we provide one-on-one and group Zoom tutorials. We have an upcoming webinar and anyone can register here.
I’m happy to answer any and all questions! Thank you so much for your time!
