About the Research Group:
Dr. Sheldon’s research group studies paleoclimatology, global change, and biosphere-environment interactions. The Continental Environments Research Group investigates linkages between climate, environment, and biogeochemistry of terrestrial and shallow marine environments at a variety of spatial and temporal scales using whole rock geochemistry, light stable isotopes, and modeling.
I am always interested in hearing from prospective undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers. For prospective graduate students interested in applying for 2020 admission, I am particularly interested in finding people who want to study biogeochemistry using a combination of both modern and ancient environments. My email address is nsheldon at umich.edu.
