Cellik Adams Cellik is majoring in Cognitive Science, with a focus in Philosophy and Cognition. He is interested in integrating topics in the humanities into the scientific field to get a fuller picture of the nature of the world. He also really likes music and plants!
Jessica Alexa Jessica is interested in the neural mechanisms and hormonal systems that modulate social behaviors, and how these behaviors affect cognitive functioning. Ultimately, she would like to continue research in a Ph.D. program and discover ways of improving treatment for psychological disorders. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, kayaking, and running!
Hannah is majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She is drawn to the biopsychology component of the program. She is interested in studying brain injury and neurodegenerative diseases as well as cognitive aging. Her personal interests include boating, playing volleyball, and painting.
Tara is a sophomore double majoring in Neuroscience and Sociology. She hopes to go on to medical school after graduating. Her personal interests include baking, watching movies, and traveling.
Katie Dvorak is a nursing student at Michigan. Because of nursing, she has found a great interest in geriatrics which lead me to the research project on Effective Memory and Aging.
Joon Kim Joon is majoring in psychology with a minor in applied statistics, and hopes to either go to law or medical school after graduation to pursue a dual JD/PhD program or MD/PhD program. Outside of the Reuter-Lorenz Lab, he conducts additional research at the Biomedical Science Research Building in the Neurology Department, works for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center, and is an active member of the College Democrats at the University of Michigan.
Elena is a recent Michigan graduate with a B.S. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and a minor in French and Francophone Studies. Her research over the past few years has focused on incorporating neuroimaging techniques with the study of attention, distraction, and working memory. She is also president of her housing co-op and a certified yoga instructor!
Melissa Loveridge Melissa is a senior studying Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience, and plans to become a Physician Assistant. Outside of psychology, she is interested in cavapoos, nature, and cinnamon rolls.
Shelby is graduating in Spring 2017 with a B.S. degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Gender and Health; she will be pursuing a PA-C after working as a Patient Care Technician at St. Joseph Hospital. She has done research in a cancer research lab before joining the Reutuer-Lorenz Lab in May 2015. Her love of the mind and interacting with participants brought her to the lab. She plays tennis, runs, swims, hikes, plays video games, and draws people when she can after an enjoyable art class at Michigan (definitely take a random class if you can).
Neha Paruchuri Neha is a sophomore majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She intends to attend medical school after graduating. As a research assistant in the Reuter-Lorenz Lab, she is working on a research project with Lilian and Ziyong regarding Value Learning and Memory experiments. In her free time, she loves to bake, hang out with her friends, and watch Netflix (particularly The Office)!
Sneha Rajen Sneha is a sophomore intending to major in Cognitive Science, with a focus on computation, and Computer Science. She has interests in neural networking, artificial intelligence, and human cognition. On campus, she volunteers at assisted living care facilities. Outside of the lab, Sneha enjoys making puzzles and listening to podcasts.
Jordan is a freshman at the University of Michigan. She is currently Pre-Med and hopes to major in Neuroscience. She is a research assistant on the Value Learning project. She also is a part of the yoga club and GMMA at the University of Michigan.
Alex works in the PARL lab on Ziyong and Lilian’s team. She is a junior, majoring in BCN, and is premed. She loves to dance and play with her cat!
Olivia Wiese Olivia is a Neuroscience major and hopes to someday work in healthcare. On campus, she is a member of the Michigan Marching Band and loves to craft and play music in her free time.
Olivia Zimmer Olivia is a Biopyschology, Cognition and Neuroscience major. She is particularly interested in social psychology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with my friends and family, reading, and watching Netflix.
