Jessica Alexa
Jessica is interested in the neural mechanisms and hormonal systems that modulate social behaviors, and how these behaviors affect cognitive functioning. Ultimately, she would like to continue research in a Ph.D. program and discover ways of improving treatment for psychological disorders. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, kayaking, and running!

Tara Ballouz
Tara is a sophomore double majoring in Neuroscience and Sociology. She hopes to go on to medical school after graduating. Her personal interests include baking, watching movies, and traveling. 

Jason Brenner
Jason is a freshman majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with an intended minor in Applied Statistics. He is a student in the LSA Honors Program and hopes to attend medical school in the future. He is a research assistant on the Value Learning project. In his free time, he enjoys running and bike-riding.

Vijay Chockalingam
Vijay is a sophomore at the University of Michigan majoring in Neuroscience. He is currently on the pre-med track and hopes to go to medical school after finishing his undergraduate degree. He is a part of Dr. Iordan’s team working on the Emotion and Working Memory project. Outside of the lab, he plays tennis, dances to hip-hop, and hangs out with his friends.

Danielle Clark
Danielle is a junior majoring in Cognitive Science with a focus on Decision and Cognition. After graduating, she hopes to go on to graduate school to pursue a Ph.D. in the area of cognition. Danielle also enjoys being a research assistant at the Ann Arbor Department of Veteran Affairs. In her free time, she loves to sing with the UM Women’s Glee club, cook, play volleyball, and watch Netflix.

Kayla Clark
Kayla is a Junior majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and minoring in Gender and Health. Eventually, she wishes to pursue a Ph.D. program within biopsychology. In addition to school, Kayla is a research assistant at the Ann Arbor VA and is a member of the Women’s Glee Club. In her free time, she enjoys a good book, cooking, movies, and the outdoors.

Ross Kempner
Ross is a sophomore majoring in Cognitive Science on the computation track, with an intended double major in one of Interdisciplinary Physics or Computer Science. Interested in how the interplay between technology and neuroscience can both expand our understanding of the mind and make a positive change in society, Ross intends to pursue a career in neurotechnology.

Vikhyathi Pallerla
Vikhyathi is a sophomore, majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan. She is Pre-Med and hopes to pursue Medical School after completing her undergraduate studies. She is a research assistant on the tDCS project. Aside from her passion for Medicine, she also loves to dance and sing.

Neha Paruchuri                                                                                                                                     Neha is a sophomore majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She intends to attend medical school after graduating. As a research assistant in the Reuter-Lorenz Lab, she is working on a research project with Lilian and Ziyong regarding Value Learning and Memory experiments. In her free time,  she loves to bake, hang out with her friends, and watch Netflix (particularly The Office)!

Ariana Pavlopoulos
Ariana is a sophomore majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She hopes to eventually go on to medical school. On campus, she volunteers at Mott’s Children’s Hospital tutoring patients and is a member of Motley Crew. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, spending time with friends and family, and baking!

Sydney Peters
Sydney is a sophomore intending to major in Information and minoring in Applied Statistics. She hopes to eventually pursue a degree in Health Informatics. On campus, she is a Health and Wellness Peer Educator and a member of UM Health Promotion Club. In her free time, she enjoys running, walking her dog, and spending time with friends and family.

Sneha Rajen                                                                                                                                          Sneha is a sophomore intending to major in Cognitive Science, with a focus on computation, and Computer Science. She has interests in neural networking, artificial intelligence, and human cognition. On campus, she volunteers at assisted living care facilities. Outside of the lab, Sneha enjoys making puzzles and listening to podcasts.

Jordan Ruge
Jordan is a freshman at the University of Michigan.  She is currently Pre-Med and hopes to major in Neuroscience.  She is a research assistant on the Value Learning project.  She also is a part of the yoga club and GMMA at the University of Michigan.

Alexandra Saenz
Alex is a research assistant in the PARL lab working with Ziyong and Lilian’s on their Value Learning project.  She is premed and majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She loves to dance and play with her cat!

Aubrey Stickland
Aubrey is junior majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan. She plans on attending medical school after graduation. She is a research assistant on the tDCS project. Outside of school, Aubrey enjoys running, reading and spending time with friends, family, and dog.

Charlotte Thill
Charlotte is a senior majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Classic Civilizations. After graduation, Charlotte wants to spend a year volunteering or researching before pursuing medical school. She is currently a research assistant on the tDCS project. Outside of class and research, Charlotte is involved in Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan and likes to hike and spend time with friends.

Haley Thomas
Haley Thomas is a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan.
Within the Reuter-Lorenz lab, she will be working on the VDM and tDCS studies. Haley hopes
to one day work in veterinary medicine, specializing in neurology. On campus, she is a member
of Impact dance team and performs in many shows throughout the year.
