2022 COHORT

I received my BS degree in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences at the University of Washington. I chose the track of scientific computing and numerical algorithms at the time. The diversity of my course curriculum prepared me not only with a strong background in applying mathematical algorithms to real-world issues, but also a solid foundation in a variety of programming languages and platforms, mainly JAVA, R, and Matlab.

With two internship experiences in the two top Tech Companies in China, Tencent and Huawei, I equipped myself with Excel and Python to better overcome challenges in data analysis. Moving into MS, I decided to explore more about emerging concepts in technology and finance. I liked utilizing my skills to address financial issues and boost efficiency at work. My working attitude is to find effective solutions to challenges, and I will hold it throughout my life.

I’ll continue honing my quantitative finance specialty and enhancing my toolbox at the University of Michigan. My multidisciplinary academic background will help me to boost my potential in my career life.
