An adventurous and solution-oriented individual with enthusiasm in probing, interest in scientific decision-making and risk management, as well as a solid Math and programming skills.
Currently enrolled in the M.S. Quantitative Finance and Risk Management program at the University of Michigan. I Hold a Bachelor of Economics in Financial Engineering from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China.
Solid foundation in finance and mathematical modeling from self-learning, relevant courses from school as well as mathematical modeling contest.
Extensive experience in statistical and data analysis and excellent skills in SPSS, Eviews, Stata etc. Developed various statistical software skills through various scientific research competitions and relevant school projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, work well under pressure, and time management skills developed through working as the Head of an art troupe at the School of Finance as well as a model when I was 16.
I never stop my steps to advance to the wider world and I believe that it is always important to experience different things in life. I developed a strong interest in trading stocks and derivatives under the influence of my high school history teacher, by which I was driven to give up my professional career in modeling and to leave hometown to attend university in Wuhan majoring in Financial engineering. I was stimulated to travel even further to pursue the graduate degree in the U.S. The courage to always step out of my comfort zone and take risks is always a lifelong treasure.
