2022 COHORT
I am earning my master’s degree in the Quant program at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. To tag myself, I am a finance majoring student, a skilled programmer, and someone who is sometimes fascinated with the beauty of math.
The tags above won me an internship chance in a hedge fund where I built a quantitative trading system applying some machine learning models, a project that the company was focusing on. And the employer was impressed by my self-learning ability, expertise, and excellent collaboration skills. All of these push me to pursue a job in quantitative trading, utilizing my skills in programming and knowledge in the field of mathematical models and pricing models.
In daily life, I am a photographer who is really into traveling. That is why I sometimes joke that academically I am an expert in mathematical models and validation models, and in life, I enjoy taking pictures of natural models.
