The Scholars Network

On Masculinity and the Well-Being of African American Men

The Scholars Network on Black Masculinity works toward improving the well-being of African American men. It is an assembly of scholars committed to reshaping scholarly and public understandings of the lives of African American men and exposing the cultural dimensions of the Black male experience.

To achieve that objective, the Network convenes conferences and workshops for its members and engages in public outreach and dissemination of research findings to government, media, and the non-profit sector.
