Dominic Kelly successfully defends dissertation

Graduate student Dominic Kelly successfully defended his dissertation, titled “Using intensive longitudinal data to model person-oriented relations between cognition and personality to inform development,” on June 3, 2022. His committee, chaired by Dr. Adriene Beltz, included Dr. Pamela Davis-Kean, Dr. Robin Edelstein, and Dr. Ioulia Kovelman. Congrats, Dominic!

Drs. Beltz and Kaplan receive $2.7M NIH grant

Drs. Adriene Beltz and Chelsea Kaplan at UM’s Chronic Pain & Fatigue Research Center received a new National Institute of Nursing Research grant to study the biological correlates of the emergence of widespread pain during adolescence, including the role of puberty. They will use longitudinal behavioral and neuroimaging data from the ABCD Study in their five-year project.
