Brennan is working closely with Neha on a project looking at cross seeding between functional amyloids and amyloids associated with human diseases.
Sarah worked closely with Maggie investigating how specific chaperone proteins can modulate curli amyloid formation.
Emma was a post doc funded by the Umeå Center for Microbial Research for her work on how small molecules modulate amyloid assembly. She worked closely with Fredrik Almqvist's group in Umeå, Sweden.

Dave works on many aspects of biofilm development, with a special interest in how extracellular matrix components are assembled. Biofilms are a major concern for the health industry in infections including medical device transplants, as biofilm infections are very difficult to treat due to their resistant nature.
