Throughout the years, our group has been doing research on many topics in AMO physics. The currently active projects are:
- Rydberg Atoms in Ponderomotive Optical Lattice
- Spectroscopy using Intra-Cavity Deep Optical Lattice
- Long-range interactions and plasma physics using ion-imaging tip
- Quantum sensing with atomic vapors
- Tractor Atom Interferometry
- AMO Theory
Almost all of our experimental setups are flexible and allow for exploration of several research directions as described on the relevant pages.
Some of the previous research topics include (most of them are used as a basis for the current projects):
- Bose-Einstein condensate in optical lattices
- Atom laser and atom guides
- Rydberg atoms in high magnetic fields
- Trapping nanoparticles in optical lattices
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or just curious about our research.
