Frieda receives John H. D’Arms Faculty Awards for Distinguished Graduate Mentoring in the Humanities. This award celebrates faculty who have contributed significantly to graduate student dissertations in the humanities. Frieda was nominated by one her current graduate students and selected by the committee her for creative scholarship and encouraging mentorship.
