The Gabii Project partnership with ICCS

iccslogoThe Gabii Project and the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome (ICCS) have entered a new partnership.  ICCS, well known to the Classics community, is an esteemed and venerable study abroad center founded by Brooks Otis and a consortium of American colleges and universities in 1965.  Located on Via Algardi in Rome, the Centro provides semester-long, intensive experiences for students to study Classical archaeology and Classics firsthand in Rome, as well as facilitating extensive on-site experiences throughout Italy and Sicily. With a famously indefatigable spirit, Centro students – with expert faculty guidance – enjoy a unique and unparalleled learning experience in Classical studies.   Under the terms of  this new partnership, the Gabii Project and its summer field program will become an official “affiliated program” from the Centro’s point of view. Centro students will receive a high priority for selection into the summer field program sponsored by the Gabii Project.  The directors of the Gabii Project are extremely pleased to be partners with the Centro.

Any ICCS students interested in applying should follow the normal application process outlined here.
