Docentendag – ICNS

Instructors of Dutch at US universities come together at the Interdisciplinary Conference on Netherlandic Studies in what we call the “docentendag”. Most of us work alone at our institutions and the instructor day has become our main way to connect with colleagues from the other institutions. We learn from and with each other, and share resources and ideas. Instructors of Dutch from outside of the United States are welcome to sit in. This year’s instructor day consists of a combined morning and afternoon Pedagogy Workshop led by Peter Schoenaerts.
