Mahmoud el Azzouny is the latest Ph.D. from the Kennedy group. His dissertation was entitled “Development and Application of Metabolomics Techniques to Improve Understanding of Glucose and Fatty Acid Metabolism in β-cells and their Role in Insulin Secretion”. His work has been published in 2 papers in Journal of Biological Chemistry with another one coming soon. He is presently at Post-Doc in the lab of Prof. Charles Burant.
