Mahmoud el Azzouny Graduates

Mahmoud el Azzouny is the latest Ph.D. from the Kennedy group. His dissertation was entitled “Development and Application of Metabolomics Techniques to Improve Understanding of Glucose and Fatty Acid Metabolism in β-cells and their Role in Insulin Secretion”. Jing Nie Graduates

Jing Nie defended her thesis on “Capillary Electrophoresis to Monitor Protein-Protein Interactions” on June 27. Her research encompassed developing separations for Hsp70, Bag3, and their complexes and then screening for inhibitors of the complex.
