The Michigan Journal of Political Science is a student-run, undergraduate publication affiliated with the University of Michigan Department of Political Science. We are currently accepting applications for section editor positions on our journal in American Politics, International Politics, Comparative Politics, and Political Theory. If you would rather submit an article to be considered for publication, we are also currently accepting submissions. Check our website for more information.
Since 1981, our mission has been to foster discussions on contemporary and thought-provoking political issues in a non-partisan, academic manner. MJPS has been ranked by UNESCO as one of the top undergraduate journals. For our Winter 2025 edition, we hope to continue our commitment to pursuing diverse and intricate topics in political science to make better sense of the world.
