The Michigan PNI Lab is currently accepting applications for undergraduate Research Assistants. Applicants may apply at any time.
We are actively recruiting research assistants who have experience with or a strong interest in the overlap between psychology and medicine. We are especially interested in people who have prior experience with: human subjects data collection,
phlebotomy, or wet lab work (i.e., have a strong skillset in bench work. This entails having experience in either multiple hands-on labs or prior semesters working in a wet lab).
To work in the Michigan PNI Lab, the Research Assistant must be willing to take psych 326 for 3-4 credits. We do not offer psych 331 to students who are newly joining the lab. The PNI Lab is not accepting volunteers.

The Michigan PNI Lab is currently not accepting applications for a post-bacc project manager.
Dr. Madison will be accepting a PhD student to begin Fall 2026.
Please note that Dr. Madison is more likely to respond to requests that specifically detail how their research interests intersect with or complement the lab’s work. Please refer to her representative publications.
The Michigan PNI Lab will consider post-doctoral applications with the potential to start in either Fall 2026 or 2027.
