New paper out

Congratulations to Ben, Kamirah, and 2016 REU student Beth Hayter!  This team identified a structural sodium ion in the the Fluc family fluoride channels and characterized its contribution to fluoride channel activity.  Does this tell us something about the evolution of sodium-coupled transporters?  See the paper here.
