We are observing the growth of decompression bubbles in spinal cord tissue using high-resolution MRI. The image series below shows the evolution of a decompression bubble in an ex-vivo bovine spinal cord that was compressed to 6 ATA for two days, and then rapidly decompressed to atmospheric pressure.
