The Pedagogy of Action in South Africa has in some ways been a struggle over the last 10 years. The program has found it difficult to find support to fund the program but those who believe in our vision of not only stopping HIV but of changing the way we teach and learn help us time and time again. We would like to thank all of the organizations and individuals who have made it possible for the Pedagogy of Action to stay alive: Senior Vice Provost Lester Monts, Douglas Fletcher, Margaret Rodriguez, and Donald Sims, manager of the Center of Afro-American Studies.
