Dr. Adriene Beltz Contributes to Research on Gender Development

Dr. Adriene Beltz participated in research which found that prenatal exposure to androgens was associated with increased interest in traditionally masculine activities but not the amount of time spent interacting with same sex peers. The results, which will be published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, “support the idea that gender development is a complex process that does not solely rely on either biological or social factors”.
