Horace M. Miner and George De Vos report the results of a nine-month cultural study in Algeria.
In north-central Arkansas, Horace Miner excavated an ash bed at the mouth of Cave Hollow. In this report, he discusses the artifacts found during excavation—stone tools, animal bone, and pottery—and the site’s possible cultural connections.
In 1939, Horace Miner lived for four months in Hardin County, Iowa, in order to carry out an anthropological study of farm life. This slim volume contains the results of his fieldwork.
