Francesca is currently a Lecturer in Psychology at Newcastle University. She received a PhD in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology from Sapienza University of Rome, and was previously a postdoctoral fellow with the Cognitive Evolution Group from 2016-2018, and then a Postdoctoral Affiliate while an independent research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse. She is also a contributor at Primate Learning in Action and a member of the Executive Board.
