Alexis was a master’s student in the Quantitative Ecology Lab at California State University Long Beach, advised by Dr. Raisa Hernández Pacheco, and is an incoming PhD student at Stanford University. She is interested in demographic research and animal behavior. Currently, Alexis is working with the Cognitive Evolution Group on a collaboration to study cognitive health and aging in rhesus macaques.
