Research Conference Award

Congratulations to Dr. Waller for receiving the 2014 Lagerspetz Award for her podium presentation at the 2014 International Society for Research on Aggression (ISRA) World Meeting, held in July in Atlanta, Georgia.Named in honor of Dr. Lagerspetz, a founding member of ISRA, this award recognizes cutting edge research that influences both animal and human aggression literature and is given to early career investigators for excellent podium presentations. Dr. Waller was part of a symposium organized by Dr. S. Alex Burt of Michigan State University and Dr. Graeme Fairchild of Southampton University in the UK. The symposium  focused on different ways that we can best understand the heterogeneity in antisocial behavior and conduct problems among children and adolescents. Dr. Waller’s paper was titled, “Multiple pathways to early-starting conduct problems: An examination of the differential correlates of callous-unemotional versus ODD and ADHD behaviors among preschool children.”
