We would like to thank all of the volunteers who took part in our 2014 and 2015 seasons – their hard work is the key to the Project’s success. The Project is not a field school, but if you are a student interested in working with us as a volunteer in 2016, please write to us in December 2015, giving details of any prior field experience you have, explaining why you are interested in the project, and providing contact information for at least one academic referee who can speak about your experience, achievements and interests.  Most of our participants receive financial support from their home institutions to take part: if you need a definite decision by a particular deadline in order to apply for such support, please note this in your message.  You should email this information either to Dr. Zosia Archibald (z.archibald@ liverpool.ac.uk) or to Professor Lisa Nevett (lcnevett@umich.edu). We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced volunteers who may be interested in playing a role in some of our specialist teams (topography, field survey, ceramic analysis, phytolith analysis, etc.).  Our work dates for the summer season in 2016 will be 4th July to 29th July, inclusive.
