The Journal of Physical Chemistry and the ACS Physical Chemistry Division have announced Julie Biteen as this year’s recipient of the Journal of Physical Chemistry B Lectureship Award. This annual award honors the contributions of an investigator who has made major impacts on the field of physical chemistry in the areas of Biophysical Chemistry, Biomaterials, Liquids, or Soft Matter. Prof. Biteen is being recognized for her research program developing single-molecule, super-resolution microscopy for applications to microbiology and nanophotonics. She will deliver her award lecture at the ACS Fall National Meeting in Philadelphia later this year.
