About CSSH
Comparative Studies in Society and History (CSSH) is an international forum for new research on problems of recurrent patterning and change in human societies through time and in the contemporary world. We feature the work of specialists in all branches of the social sciences and humanities, bringing together multidisciplinary research, cultural and area studies, and innovative ventures in theory and method. We are committed to building connections and shared languages of comparison across the core fields of our readership: history, anthropology, political science, and sociology. Along with articles and review essays, CSSH publishes interviews with our contributors, commentaries, resources for teaching, and discussions of emerging trends in the practice and politics of comparison.
