About Intend to Attend (I2A)

Intend to Attend (I2A) prepares students for what’s next after high school! We use digital tools to encourage 8th-12th grade students to explore all college options (including vocational school, community college, and four-year university) while participating in experiences that empower them to build their own personalized pathway to college.

I2A was established in May 2022 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. While we are based at the University of Michigan, we promote all college options and encourage students to find the best pathway for them!

I2A’s three central elements:

Tailored Coaching and Messaging

ECoach (personalized electronic coaching system)

I2A Ambassador coaching

Digital Tools

Lettersmith (essay writing support tool)

Learning Opportunities

Go for Readiness, Opportunity, and Empowerment (GROE) with I2A

We will expand on these offerings as I2A continues to develop!
