We study how children learn language.
The focus of our research is childhood language, bilingualism, and brain development. Our scientific aim to understand how children learn to speak in multiple languages, and what brain mechanisms underlie language acquisition. Our studies include both typical as well as atypical development, including language impairments (SLI), hearing impairments (children with cochlear implants) and reading impairments (dyslexia).
