Introduction to Cognitive Psychology

Course Description

Topics in this course cover various aspects of cognitive psychology, including human perception and recognition, brain functions, attention, learning and memory, problem-solving and decision-making, language, and consciousness. The course will emphasize not only the content material represented by these topics but also the process by which researchers develop theories and collect evidence about relevant issues. The discussion sections that I am leading will give students an opportunity to review and discuss the materials from lectures and readings through quizzes, activities, review, and summary in a more in-depth fashion.
