The Diba Lab at the University of Michigan is presently looking for a qualified postdoctoral researcher. Our lab is focused on understanding the neuronal circuit dynamics underlying network oscillations and their respective roles during memory formation in waking and sleep. We use large-scale in-vivo neurophysiology, circuit manipulations (including optogenetics), network modeling (in collaboration with Dr. Sen Cheng’s Lab at Ruhr University-Bochum) and extensive data analysis to investigate these questions in hippocampal-neocortical networks.

The candidate should have experience in one (or more) of these areas: unit/spectral analysis, computational network modeling, electrophysiology, imaging and/or neuroanatomy.

Please contact Kamran Diba directly and include your CV and description of your research interests.
