Our extensive support for professional development means our students graduate as experienced, successful researchers with well-developed research agendas and the ability to pursue them. Many of our students publish while in the program and all are active in professional research organizations such as the American Educational Research Association, the Conference on College Composition and Communication, the Council of Writing Program Administrators, the National Council of Teachers of English, the Modern Language Association and the Rhetoric Society of America.
