About

Methods Hour is an open forum for inquiry and for the demonstration, dissemination, and discussion of social science research methods. It is organized by Drs. Adriene Beltz and Pam Davis-Kean, who format meetings with short presentations and long discussions. The focus is on research methods, broadly defined, including debates and shifts in psychological science approaches, study design and management, quantitative applications, qualitative innovations, and more!

Methods Hour is intended to be a meaningful conversation space for individuals at all stages of training, from diverse substantive specialties, and with varying methodological viewpoints. Its goal is to bolster methods knowledge and applications, and to help fill the gap between class-based conceptual understandings and laboratory-based research implementation.
