About

Methods Hour is an open forum for inquiry and for the demonstration, dissemination, and discussion of psychological research methods. It is organized by Drs. Adriene Beltz and Pam Davis-Kean, who format meetings with short presentations and long discussions. The focus is on quantitative methods, broadly defined, but more general methods (e.g., study design) and qualitative methods are also considered.

Methods Hour is a meaningful conversation space for individuals at all stages of training, from diverse substantive specialties, and with varying quantitative backgrounds. It bolsters methods knowledge and applications throughout the department and fills the gap between class-based conceptual understanding of methods and research implementation in the laboratory.
