Congratulations to Ginger for being awarded a 2019 Individual Award for Outstanding Contributions to Undergraduate Education by the UM College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Ginger was recognized for her work in transforming our organic chemistry II lab (developing a problem-based curriculum, implementing writing-to-learn, and leading a research-based section), co-leading MWrite, and teaming up with people around our university (e.g. from the School of Education, the School of Dentistry, and the University Musical Society). Ginger was recognized as a tremendously dedicated and excellent instructor (and mentor of undergraduate researchers) who is patient, thoughtful, and kind. Congratulations on this well-deserved award!
