List of species of fish collected on the ESGR, excluding the species of Sayles Lake.
It should be noted that this list contains only those species that are known to have breeding populations of fish on the fenced portion of the ESGR. It is likely that transients of several additional species may move onto the ESGR via Honey Creek where it meets East Marsh. However, the earthen dam and head gate at the East end of East Marsh typically precludes the migration of fish into the remainder of the ESGR and summer drying of the creek prevents establishment of reproductive populations in the creek itself. Additionally, the Anderson Drain, which runs for about 350m through the northeast portion of the Reserve that was acquired circa 1980, has not been extensively sampled.
