Michigan Math and Science Scholars

We are no longer accepting applications for the MMSS 2020 Program. 

COVID 19 UPDATE (4/21/2020): In accordance with the policy put forth by Children on Campus, the MMSS will not operate residential or in-person programming this summer. 

We we will be offering a limited number of courses online this summer, during two four-week sessions. Tuition for each course is $1,000. Online instruction will be synchronous (i.e. take place in real time) from 1pm-4pm EDT every week day during those four weeks. Lessons will not be recorded. Students are expected to be present each day in the virtual classroom, and have a reliable internet connection, as well as access to a device with a camera and microphone.

Students who do not to enroll in the online program will be refunded in full for all fees paid prior to April 1.

A Summer Enrichment Program for Current High School Students

Welcome to the Michigan Math and Science Scholars (MMSS) home page, a program designed to introduce high school students to current developments and research in the sciences and to encourage the next generation of researchers to develop and retain a love of mathematics and science.
