Charlotte Devitz, MSc.

Charlotte was in the Dantzer Lab from 2018-2020 as a graduate student in theĀ Frontier’s Masters Program in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UM. Charlotte examined behavioral differences between fox squirrels living in urban, suburban, and rural areas around Ann Arbor and was the leader of the “squirrel squad” that was a frequent site around campus. Charlotte has been a leader in the lab for her science communication efforts about her research in our lab and also about how to make science/academia a more inclusive place (such as here, here, and here). Charlotte is now going to be entering the Ph.D. program with Dr. Emelie Snell-Rood at the University of Minnesota.
