The Output View Selection menu allows you to select the data variables you would like to export from DataDirect. Select a category of Output Views (Demographic, Encounter, etc) or Search All Views to locate a specific data variable.
Once the category is selected, the available Views from that category will display in the center of the window. The arrows to the right of the view name allow the menu to expand to display all of the variables in the selected view. Select the data variables you want to export by clicking on the red x next to the left of the variable name. The red x will turn to a green +, indicating the variable will be exported. Multiple views and variables may be selected.
After you have selected the variables for output, you are ready to run the query.
