  1. How does temporal coordination among network of phase-precessing neurons, which individually oscillate faster than the theta (5-12 Hz), frequency, produce a system-wide oscillation at the theta frequency? Our collaborator Caroline Geisler found that a network of finite phase-precessing place-fields, coupled with fixed temporal delays produces population oscillations at the theta frequency.
