Collaboratory participants in January’s Connecting Digital Scholarship event

Cindy Lin discusses approaches to collaboration in the Precarity Lab

“Everyone writes, and everyone is a collaborator,” explained Cindy Lin in her presentation at Connecting Digital Scholarship on January 23rd at UMMA. The event, focused on digital humanities and digital scholarship, offered lightning talks, panel discussions, and opportunities for networking. In her presention on the practice of feminist ethics, Lin—a Ph.D. student in the School of Information—showcased the process of collaboration in the Precarity Lab. Lin looked at ethics as a core feature of their team’s collaborative scholarship and explored questions about how to best disseminate collaborative and multi-disciplinary work to multiple audiences.
