Precarity Lab team goes on “Book Sprint”

Members from Collaboratory’s “Precarity Lab” team traveled to Banff this month to take part in a Book Sprint. Book Sprint organizers refer to the process as “an immersive adventure in group-collaboration and shared authorship.” According to PI Lisa Nakamura (Gwendolyn Calvert Baker Collegiate Professor and director of the Digital Studies Institute), team members will be participating in five days of “intensive co-writing, working on an experimental book about the forms of insecurity, vulnerability, and social and cultural exclusion that digital platforms reproduce and mediate.”
