Research at Michigan TOMORROW

Don’t miss junior colloquium this week! Our Research at Michigan Series continues with Professor Liliana Borcea, telling us about her work

On the continuum limit of inverse spectral problems

As usual, the event is held in Room 3088, Friday at 4 pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend, but all graduate students are especially encouraged to come. As a broad-minded, curious mathematician at an elite research department, you should absolutely come out and learn what Michigan mathematicians are doing in their cutting edge research!

Professor Borcea is also looking for PhD students, especially those with strong interest, training and experience in our analysis courses here. So this is a great opportunity for first and second year students in both math and AIM who are interested in analysis to check out a potential thesis advisor.
