Two Six Labs is hiring Math PhDs

Alexander Zaitzeff (UM Math PhD 2020) reached out to let me know that his workplace, Two Six Labs, is hiring this year, and he’s happy to talk to any Michigan Math graduates interested in learning more about Two Six Labs. Alexander says he’s enjoyed being a senior research scientist at Two Six so far, where he’s designed visualization software for experimentalists (read about it here)  and used machine learning to identify DNA-binding proteins from amino acid sequences.
You might remember that  David Renardy (UM Math PhD 2016) also works at Two Six Labs and visited last year in Junior Colloquium/Invitations to Industry to tell us about his work on  Mathematics and Cyber Security (abstract). Geez, was that really less than a year ago? Feels like another era.
Here are some current job listings of interest at Two Six,  though Alexander and David both explicitly mentioned that they hire good people even if they don’t match the prerequisites laid out in a job posting.
