25th Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners opens March 16, 2021

The pandemic halted the 25th Annual Exhibition of Art by Michigan Prisoners days before it was scheduled to open in March 2020. This month, The Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP) will present the show in a new digital gallery which goes live on March 16, 2021.

PCAP provides the primary research materials for the Documenting Prison Education and the Arts branch of the multi-faceted Documenting Criminalization and Confinement Collaboratory Project Grant.

After opening on March 16, the exhibit will continue throughout the month with a full schedule of online events including an opening celebration, a keynote address, public tours, an artists panel, and more.
