Raymundo Navarrete wins Smereka Award

Raymundo Navarrete has been selected by the AIM committee as winner of the department’s Smereka prize for the best AIM thesis.  His thesis, “Embeddings and Prediction of Dynamical Time Series,” was supervised by Professor Divakar Viswanath. Currently a postdoc at the University of Arizona, Ray will come back to Ann Arbor and give an AIM seminar on Friday, January 25, 2019. He will be honored at a reception on that date.
