The following PhD students were chosen to receive a summer fellowship because of their outstanding progress in the program, their promise for future research, and their valuable contributions to the scholarly life of the department.
Karen Butt, working with Ralf Spatzier, The Juha Heinonen Memorial Fellowship (more detailed biography), made possible by the family and friends of Juha.
Fanchen He, working with Smadar Karni, received the Math Department Alumni Scholarship, made possible by gifts of many alumni to our department.
Christina Athanasouli, working with Victoria Booth, received the Usha Sharma Bhalla fellowship.
Lara Du, working with Trevor Wooley (remotely) and Mattias Jonsson, received the Prasad Family Fellowship.
Montek Gil, working with Igor Kriz, and Yifeng Huang, working with Mike Zieve, also received the Prasad Family Fellowship.
