NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Beginning PhD students and Master’s students! Consider applying for an NSF fellowship if you are a US citizen or permanent resident! [Don’t despair if you’re international, just click here instead.]

These are quite competitive, but Michigan students have a good shot, usually. There provide generous funding for your research for several years. Your fellow students wrote up advice on getting fellowships here.

NSF is offering a series of Applicant Webinars for the 2020 competition.  These webinars will discuss eligibility requirements and the application process.  Register as soon as possible as space will be limited to 500 participants for each session.   A recorded webinar will be available on the nsfgrfp.org website.

Webinars will be conducted in Zoom.  Click the link below for your preferred session, enter required information, and click Register.  You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom Session Password to join the scheduled session.
