Rufus Apple

Mr. Apple is an alum of Miller High School, Detroit’s pre-eminent African America High School in the 1940s, and a contemporary of Jesse Pearson (see below). He appears on one of Mr. Pearson’s photos from the 1940’s. He gave a good interview but it takes the form of responding to questions more than elaboration. Interview conducted in Nov 2003.
